What kind of treatments does aesthetics care include?

Botox®

Botox is a neuromodulator, an injectable substance that temporarily reduces muscle contractions. This smooths fine lines and wrinkles in the forehead, between the eyebrows, and around the eyes (crow’s feet). Botox takes effect in as little as 24 hours, with full results within a week or so.

Botox treats lines that develop after years of repetitive movements like squinting and frowning. 

Because it’s only for use in muscle-caused wrinkles, it’s ideal for the upper face. 

In the middle and lower face, lines and wrinkles occur because of volume loss, which is best treated with a dermal filler.

Juvéderm®

Juvéderm is the leading brand of dermal fillers. It treats smile lines (from the edges of the nose to the corners of the mouth), marionette lines (at the bottom edges of your mouth), and thinning cheeks. 

These issues are common as the body loses its natural collagen — the protein that plumps skin and keeps it firm — starting at around age 30.

Qwo®

Qwo is the only FDA-approved injectable treatment to reduce the appearance of cellulite. It’s ideal for the treatment of moderate to severe cellulite in the buttocks. 

Qwo contains enzymes that break down fibrous tissue bands, redistribute fat cells, and prompt new collagen growth. It can significantly decrease cellulite within about 10 weeks (three treatment sessions, three weeks apart).

How long do the results of aesthetics treatments last?

Botox lasts for up to four months, while Juvéderm can last from six months to two years, depending on the specific formula. Qwo is newer to the market, and results vary, but many patients see long-lasting results and enjoy cellulite reduction for a year or longer.
